Bluefin Tuna Steaks - pan seared

BLUEFIN IS OFTEN SERVED RAW OR SEARED.. HOWEVER,

IT IS ALSO GREAT STEAKED AND COOKED.

EXCEPTIONAL DINING

YOU CAN USE ANY FLAVOR YOU WANT TO MARINATE THE STEAK IN. I HAVE SEEN CITRUS, ORANGE, LEMON, LIME, TERYAKI,, DRY RUBS, WHAT EVER YOUR PALATE DESIRES. I OPTED TO USE HIBISCUS HONEY VINGEGRETTE. THEN SEARED IN BUTTER AND SEASAME SEEDS.

INGREDENTS:

BLUEFIN TUNA STEAK

MARINATED

BUTTER

SEASAME SEEDS.

MARINATE STEAK 20-30 MINUTES.

HEAT PAN UP AND MELT BUTTER AND SEASAME SEEDS.

WHEN PAN IS HOT ( I USED 7.5 OF 10 ON MY STOVE TOP)

PLACE STEAK IN PAN. cOOK 10-12 MINUTES A SIDE. OR UNTIL INTERNAL TEMP IS 125.

PULL STEAK FROM PAN AND LET IT REST. ADD LEFT OVER MARINATE TO PAN AND COOK TO BOIL REDUCE HEAT AND LET SIMMER FOR 10 -15 MINUTES. WATCH CLOSELY TO NOT BURN SAUCE.
